INDIANS LIVING ILLEGALLY IN OTHER COUNTRIES
707. SHRI DEEPENDER SINGH HOODA
Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state :-
(a) whether it is fact that lot of Indians are living illegally in other countries without valid papers and through different routes; and
(b) the number of people from Haryana, Punjab and Delhi who have been identified by different authorities (both Indian and foreign) living illegally in other countries since 2019; year wise details?

(a & b) Many countries do not provide information on illegal stay in their countries, except when they are under orders of deportation and travel document/nationality verification is required. As such, reliable data on the number of Indians staying or working illegally in foreign countries is not available.
