NUMBER OF PASSPORT HOLDERS IN THE COUNTRY

Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state :-
(a) the number of Indians who holds passport;
(b) State-wise details of males and females who hold passport in the country separately; and
(c) the number of passport issued in the last five years, year-wise and State-wise details separately?

(a) Total number of passports issued and currently valid are 9,26,24,661.
(b) State-wise list of males and females who hold Passports in the country is attached at Annexure-I
.
(c) Total passports issued in the last five years, year-wise and State-wise is enclosed at Annexure-II.
