NEW DIPLOMATIC ENCLAVE

Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state :-
(a) whether any construction has been started at the proposed new diplomatic enclave in Dwarka;
(b) all the countries which are provided with a space to build embassy or high commission in this area;
(c) whether any new countries which are not having a mission office in India till now are allotted a space in the new diplomatic enclave; and
(d) by when this proposed diplomatic enclave will be completed in all respect?
ANSWER

(a) No Sir.
(b) No space has been provided to any Embassy or High Commission.
(c) This Ministry will develop a detailed policy for allocation of land to interested Foreign Missions once Urban Planning and land development have been completed by the land owning agency.
(d) No time line has been fixed for development of this enclave.
