The 10th India-Armenia Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) was held in New Delhi on 18 November 2023. The Indian delegation was led by Shri Sanjay Verma, Secretary (West). Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, H.E. Mr. Mnatsakan Safaryan led the Armenian delegation. The 9th FOC was held in virtual format in February 2022.
2. Discussions were held on a wide range of issues covering all aspects of bilateral relations, including political, trade & economic, consular, cultural, people to people ties, with emphasis on energy, agriculture, connectivity and capacity building. Both sides also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest, including cooperation in the multilateral fora. Indian side appreciated Armenia’s participation in the Voice of Global South Summit.
3. It was agreed that the next FOC would be hosted in Armenia, subject to mutual convenience.
