Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state whether during the recent visit of Prime Minister to America and Netherland, any discussion was held about including India in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), if so, the details thereof, if not, the
reasons therefor?

Yes. During the visit of Prime Minister to United States of America and The Netherlands in June 2017, discussions were held on this subject and both the countries have expressed their support for India’s early membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
