Interaction with African Heads of Missions in New Delhi

- The Minister of State for External Affairs General (Dr.) V.K Singh (Retd.) as part of regular interactions had a meeting with African Heads of Missions in New Delhi on 17 December 2014
- In the course of the interaction, the Minister of State for External Affairs strongly condemned instances of violence and racially motivated comments against African nationals in India. He stated that India has a long history of inclusive and cosmopolitan
culture. Based on India’s constitutional and legislative provisions, the Government of India follows the highest standards of inclusivity and democratic values and has zero tolerance for racism in any form.
- He assured African Heads Of Missions that the Government of India is committed to ensuring safety and security of all foreign nationals living in India, including those from the African countries.
