H. E. Mr Urmas Reinsalu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Estonia, along with an official delegation, is on his visit to India from 15-17 January 2020 to participate in the 5th Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi.
On 15th January, Mr. Reinsalu held a bilateral meeting with Dr. S. Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister. They extensively discussed various issues of mutual interest for further deepening the partnership between India and Estonia. The two Mnisters discussed
ways for enhancing cooperation in the fields of digital, cyber domian and ICT. They also discussed matters of interest at the UNSC, and Mr. Reinsalu conveyed Estonia’s support for India’s UNSC non permanent member for 2021-22. He will also call on Hon'ble
Prime Minister of India.
Bilateral relations between India and Estonia are stable and cordial. Both countries share common values of democracy, freedom and pluralism. Hon’ble Vice President paid a state visit to Estonia in August 2019. The visit of Minister Reinsalu will further strengthen
bilateral relations between India and Estonia.
