Prince of Wales, Charles Philip Arthur George accompanied by Duchess of Cornwall, will be on a 2-day visit to India on Wednesday, 8th November 2017 as part of their 10 day four nation tour to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and India.
This visit will be the 9th visit of the Prince of Wales to India, who visited India 8 times before in the following years - 1975, 1980, 1991, 1992, 2002, 2006, 2010, and 2013 respectively.
The visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations. The Prince is scheduled to meet the Indian Prime Minister and discuss a wide range of issues including that of the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting which will
take place in April 2018 in the UK, Climate Change, Sustainable Development Goals, Economic cooperation etc.
