Online Registration for Media

Last date of online accreditation is November 25, 2016. Upon completion of registration and after necessary processing, all media personnel would be provided with an individual media accreditation photo pass. Media accreditation passes must be worn at all times and will be required for entry into venues during the Conference.

Visa Requirements

Media Delegates must have obtained "J” (Journalist) visas from the accredited Indian Mission.

No separate accommodation arrangements have been made by the Conference Secretariat for Media Delegates. Media delegates may reserve Hotel accommodation at Amritsar on their own in one of the following Hotels:

Media Centre

Media Centre will be provided for international and domestic media at the Hotel Radisson Blu.

Host Broadcaster

The Host Broadcast Organisation of India for Live Feed by foreign TV Organizations is Doordarshan (DD). DD will provide the feed at the venue or anywhere in India in full HD 1080i50 format. For sourcing the signal they can track satellite. The satellite parameters are as follows:

Member countries can receive the desired signals through the above satellite anywhere in the footprint area of INSAT 4 B i.e. all over India and then make their own arrangement for further teleport of the signals as per their requirements. Uplinking permission

If foreign media desires live broadcasting of the proceedings of Media Events of the Conference, they must send in their request to Conference Secretariat using the application form http://mib.nic.in/WriteReadData/documents/Tempuplinkform240807.pdf. To facilitate customs clearance of media related equipments, signed list of equipment along with make, serial numbers and approximate cost, name, designation, name of Organization, copy of passport, telephone number/mobile number/e-mail id, air ticket/flight details indicating port of entry in India may be e-mailed at poxfm@meaindia.in.Media Transport

The Conference Secretariat will provide transport service between Media hotels and Conference designated hotel for all accredited media personnel.
